Job Description:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Under the general supervision of a supervisor or an employee of equal or higher rank, Mfg. Eng. Resource Programmer IV will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for effective design of manufacturing resources including:

o聽聽 Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) numerical controlled (NC) programs, Manufacturing Computer Aided Design (MCAD) tools/fixtures, loft patterns, and operational models with associated 2D drawings.

o聽聽 Must have knowledge of shop production and processing operations.

o聽聽 Work in accordance with management strategies and concepts as well as program and departmental processes and procedures using Bell Business Systems.

o聽聽 May direct, mentor and train one or more employees.

Worked Performed:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, Bell Process Framework, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provides MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process planning sequences as required.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD models with 2D drawings exist as required.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops, Creates and Maintains Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturing operations for all media types including MCAD and manual legacy designs. Executes creation and maintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions for Numerical Controlled equipment.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flat patterns and associated digital tooling programs.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Working knowledge of NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances Supports producibility assessments when requested.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains records and schedules of work assigned.Will meet established company cost control standards, schedule and quality requirements to maintain market competitiveness.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as determined by management.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Execute strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required to communicate and interact between internal and external customers.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Apply extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to train, direct, instruct, and check/validate Production Engineering work.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Required to attend training and complete competency-based testing as required by management to remain current with technological advancements.



Experience & Other Requirements:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Four (4) years college or eight (8) years of experience in the aircraft industry.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
