Paragon is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Fort Worth, Texas team! The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for establishing and maintaining quality controls in all activities, procedures, inspections, audits, reports, and documentation. Interface with clients and suppliers as well as internal departments with respect to quality activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the documented quality assurance program.
  • Participate in contract reviews/design reviews to ensure that client technical and quality requirements are included.
  • Interface with clients and suppliers for quality issues and requirements.
  • Direct or perform quality training as applicable.
  • Perform on-site and off-site surveillance to ensure that Quality Assurance Program requirements are met.
  • Perform Quality Assurance reviews or approvals of qualification and verification plans and purchase order documentation files.
  • Review engineering drawings to ensure that client technical and quality requirements and Paragon Quality Assurance Program requirements are met.
  • Monitor quality activities to ensure that Paragon Quality Assurance Program requirements are met.
  • Identify quality problems and resolve them including determination of reportability issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • General knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Minimum three years of experience in quality control as a supervisor or senior level Test/Inspector. At least one year working experience with a nuclear quality assurance program.
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance codes and standards.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of reading, understanding and determining the acceptability of test and/or inspection data.
  • Capable of traveling to client or supplier locations.
  • Capable of auditing and/or determining supplier capabilities.
