The MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is聽the聽Premier聽Vertical Lift military program in the world.聽Bell's MV-75 FLRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Army's assault capabilities.聽 The MV-75 program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army鈥檚 tactical advantage in聽future conflicts. Systems Engineers, MBSE聽
Bell鈥檚 Digital Systems Engineers are responsible for the coordination, development, and management of technical requirements and risks for aircraft programs.聽
Your duties will also include developing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models using CAMEO and System Modeling Language (SysML) with emphasis on system decomposition, functions, interfaces, and performance to describe and analyze complex systems and software.
You鈥檒l be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.聽
What you鈥檒l be doing as a Systems Engineer:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 End-to-end aircraft architecture modeling and requirements definition. Complex mission system definition and modeling. System-of-system modeling of aircraft fleets in operational environments. 聽Autonomous systems modeling and development.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Utilize MBSE to realize/describe/analyze complex systems in CAMEO / SysML.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Promote, mature, and grow the application and use of MBSE for assigned design teams, program, and enterprise.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop operational models using OMG UML Unified Profile for DoDAF/MoDAF (UPDM).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate and execute design reviews to include SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, FRR, TRR, SVR for air vehicle, systems, and components.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support development of requirements and specifications for subsystems, components, parts, and assemblies.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate with design engineers in the development of system and component level technical requirement specifications and Statements of Work.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Execute design reviews at the Tier I, II, and III levels, ensuring all necessary deliverables are complete and entry and exit criteria is met.
Skills You Bring To this Role:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience at all levels will be considered with a minimum of 2 years work experience in Systems Engineering.聽聽 Positions at various Engineering levels will be offered, depending on experience.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum 2 years of experience developing models using Dassault Systemes Cameo Systems Modeler (or similar) conforming to SysML or UML. 聽聽聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with aerospace design and verification processes including: requirements development, functions development, validation and verification for conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate systems engineering activities and report status.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The ability to work effectively within a team and drive tasks to closure that are high in quality and technically accurate.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree with a Major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software, or Systems Engineering.聽聽 Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance as a U.S. Citizen is preferred but not required for all aircraft programs.聽
