We are seeking a compassionate Audiologist to join a school district in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This in-person role focuses on supporting students with hearing loss and auditory disorders through evaluations, hearing technology management, and collaboration with educators and families to ensure students receive the accommodations they need to thrive academically.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct audiological evaluations for students
• Monitor hearing aids, cochlear implants, FM/DM systems, and assistive listening devices
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, families, and related service providers
• Educate staff and caregivers regarding hearing accommodations and communication strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations





Requirements

• Active New Mexico Audiologist license
Current New Mexico PED (Public Education Department) Certification required
• Candidates licensed in another state are encouraged to apply. Expedited New Mexico licensure may be completed in approximately 30 days
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
