Building Maintenance Technician

House Autry Mills is currently in search of an energetic Building Maintenance Technician. This is an entry level position and has the primary responsibility of ensuring that facilities are clean and in good operating condition. Duties may include cleaning buildings and rooms, repairing pallets, and performing general maintenance and repair of the building, grounds, and equipment.

HOURS: Monday - Thursday 7a -5:30p

Maintenance / Utility Technician

• Utility work (around the facility painting, minor plumbing and painting) etc.
• Assists in the removal and replacements of defective parts.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices & control instruments by using appropriate tools.
• Assist mechanics with controlling production equipment downtime by performing preventive maintenance.
• Will be required to drive company vehicles to install equipment, retrieve and deliver parts as required.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance / Utility Technician

• HS Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid driver license
• One or more years of experience in a similar role in a food manufacturing or distribution environment
• Food manufacturing preferred
• Mechanical aptitude highly desired.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
•  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and troubleshooting instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Goal oriented and self-motivated
