Position Overview

Adelman Travel is searching for a Vacation Support Coordinator to join our collaborative team environment. If you are outgoing, organized, and eager to learn, you might be just who we are looking for. This position supports the operations team for our Food & Wine Trails division by handling telephone calls and emails, responding to requests for information, preparing documents, and maintaining the Company’s database of travelers.

This position must be based in either our Springfield, MO, or Milwaukee, WI office.

How You’ll Contribute to Our Mission

  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls, handle call backs, and return or forward voicemails.
  • Maintain company email boxes and distribute leads according to established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports, templates, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software, or customer relationship management (CRM) database. 
  • Create and maintain CRM records such as building Reservation Cards and traveler profiles while ensuring the accuracy and validity of information. 
  • Support team operations and work closely with preferred vendors in the creation of group travel bookings.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • One plus years experience in office administration, customer service, or sales.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience utilizing a client relationship management (CRM) tool - ClientBase preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen to and understand customer needs.
  • Adaptable self-starter, who is organized, focused on attention to detail, and able to effectively prioritize projects in a fast-paced, work environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the aptitude to find creative solutions and can organize work efficiently, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn and adapt to change.

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm CDT
