Quality Assurance (Only W2 - Onsite)

Job Description:

·         This originally wasan LI role and we have picked it up due to the degree requirement.

·         I. Purpose/Summary
This position works in conjunction with Quality Assurance, Customer Service,Engineering and our Product Expertise Centers globally, in the areas of qualityevaluations, product audits and resolution of non-conforming materials. Thisposition requires accuracy in recording results and the keeping of detailedrecords. Timely attention to submissions of returned exhibits to ExpertiseCenters is essential, as well as effective communication of findings,questioning of results and the providing of the information to others,including Customers, is imperative. Must be capable and effective in reportpreparation, data presentation and reporting of technical and quality issues.

·         II. EssentialFunctions

·         A. Assists QualityManagement and Engineering, Product Engineering and other departments, as wellas Customers.

·         B. Inspects andevaluates materials, parts and/or complete and complex assemblies forconformance to known industrial procedures, specifications and qualitystandards.

·         C. Conducts andinterprets dimensional inspection, finished product, parts, units, or processesto ensure quality standards are met. Evaluates and initiates resolution ofnon-conforming materials and/or products.

·         D. Provides effectivecommunication and timely follow up of issues.

·         E. Skilfully andthoroughly communicates results both verbally and written with external andinternal customers, other departments, and to staff at all levels of SE, in atimely manner.

·         F. Trains others inessential tasks and provides feedback to management and other staff ontechnical and quality matters.

·         G. Work with otherstaff members as a team to meet common objectives and to provide exceptionalcustomer service levels.

·         H. Generate materialcertificates to meet product compliance.

·         I. Support QualityEngineers with root cause analysis of process defects and customer returns.

·         III. AdditionalSkills and Responsibilities

·         Can read andinterpret drawings, specifications and procedures.

·         Can utilizedimensional analysis equipment, to perform the required analyses.

·         Customer oriented,good follow-up and works with minimal supervision.

·         Good interpersonalskills; displays teamwork and flexibility

·         Experience with MSWindows, Office and other common computer skills
