Job Description:

· Job Title: FlowController

· Contract: 6 monthswith strong potential for long term extension

· Location: Foxboro,MA- onsite M- F

· The Flow Controlleris responsible to define and update the supply/ stock management of specificcomponents including raw material, machined parts, and a variety of othercommodities to ensure material availability for both internal and externalcustomers.

What do you get to do in this position?

· Validate and maintainLeadtime, MRP, open order status/ on time delivery and quality.

· Review MRP to ensurematerial availability and future forecasted supply, without leading to excessor unhealthy inventory levels.

· Participate in dailyproduction meetings, updating the team on delivery and/or quality issues

· Maintain a closerelationship to the supplier base to secure delivery, quality and productivityservice levels

· First escalationlevel for supplier crisis management

· Expedite materialsand follow up with transportation and import processes if needed

· Active participationon negotiating with the supplier base who support your products and to secureprocurement, payment term, etc. Work with Global Supply Chain on criticalsuppliers.

· Work with Engineeringand Quality to manage supplier and parts qualification. Working on any qualityissues…root cause/ corrective actions.

· Contribute toproductivity by supporting and implementing quality, delivery, and costreduction objectives.

· Be able to be aself-starter and communicate/ work with team members from all organizations asrequired.

· Bachelor degree inbusiness or 2-5 years of experience in this type of position

· Previous ERPexperience – preferably SAP

· Self-starter

· Can work with manyother organizations/ personalities

Strong negotiation, reporting skills
