Hours per Week (Max 20): 20

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support supervision of program participants, especially those assigned to you.
  • Help ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive program environment.
  • Assist with transitions, timely arrival/departure to activities, and general group movement.
  • Support implementation of the Code of Conduct and Conflict Resolution Plan.
  • Help with minor behavior management under staff direction.
  • Assist with training sessions, workshops, and enrichment activities led by staff or guest presenters.
  • Help distribute materials, set up program spaces, and clean up after activities.
  • Complete required documentation (daily logs, incident reports, rosters, youth check-ins, etc.).
  • Assist with organizing supplies, filing, copying, data entry, and other office tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with department staff.
  • Protect the confidentiality of all youth, families, and program matters at all times.


Qualification and Requirements:

  • KSU undergraduate/graduate student
  • Background Check Clearance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to assist with minor conflicts and support youth respectfully.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic digital tools.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimal exposure to physical risk.
  • Work is primarily performed in an indoor environment, with occasional community-based activities
