As a Lead Maintenance Technician here at Solstice, you will be responsible for mentoring, guiding, and providing directions to 5 other mechanics.  In addition, you will also be responsible for performing maintenance and repair on a variety of industrial mechanical systems and equipment, such as forges, presses, high temperature ovens, and metal fabrication work.  You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations through your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide oversight of work being done by other maintenance mechanics
  • Provide instruction and guidance on best practices to complete work
  • Utilize SAP (or a related MRP system) to manage jobs, order parts, and develop work plans
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of industrial systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement improvements and resolve issues.

  • Perform assembly and production tasks according to established procedures and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product assembly
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and product performance
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial operations, including hydraulic presses, forging, machining, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with advanced troubleshooting techniques and repair of industrial machinery.
  • Experience with welding, fabricating, rigging, and making heavy lifts.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.

WE VALUE

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Certified Welder
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical systems.

Compensation:

The annual base pay range for this position is $62,123 to $77,654. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities or the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business consideration.
