Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:● Knowledgeable of the individualized care plan for residents and provide support to the resident according to the care plan. ● Contribute to the care planning process by providing the Unit Manager or other care planning staff with specific information and observations of the residents’ needs and preferences.● Lead, direct, and supervise the certified nursing assistants and assure completion of their duties and documentation.● Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.● Report pertinent changes in residents to the MD/NP/PA. Inform Unit Manager of significant changes and/or issues on the unit. Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:● Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.● Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license and CPR certification.● Experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care, or other related health care facilitysupervisory/management skills required.
