Description
Data Systems Analysts, Inc (DSA) has an opening for a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect as a Key Personnel to support the Organizational Messaging Service (OMS) National Gateway Centers’ (NGCs) Command and Control (C2) Messaging Interoperability mission. This role provides hands-on systems and network engineering and architectural development support to sustain and enhance OMS backbone and support systems, ensuring reliable, secure, interoperable messaging services for DoD, the Intelligence Community, other U.S. Government users, and allied/coalition partners.

Required Qualifications

  • All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution
  • Active DOD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • Current Security + Certification
  • Knowledge of and can demonstrate a level of proficiency using AI to support research and improve workflows
  • Bachelor of Arts /Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) in an Information Technology or Computer Science discipline. Additional three years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
  • Minimum qualifications shall be at least eight years of experience in design and implementation of system architectures on major NSS in the DoD
  • Must demonstrate a strong Engineering background supporting high visibility systems that transmit world-wide to include ships at sea.
  • Candidate must hold an IAT II qualified certification (example Security+).
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Candidate must demonstrate an attention to detail.
  • Candidate must possess excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining SOPs and TTPs

Clearance Required

  • Candidate must have current Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain SCI clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the use of C2 messaging in the DoD

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and refine mission requirements and coordinate buy-in with key stakeholders.
  • Generate feasibility and technical analysis reports upon Government request to assist the Government’s decision-making process.
  • Be responsible for project planning and upon Government approval, project execution. Projects should follow project management best practices.
  • Identify system hardware, software, and operational changes to enhance operational efficiency and improve usability on the Organizational Messaging Service (OMS) system.
  • Generate feasibility reports when requested by the COR. Feasibility reports may be in response to operational incidents, administrative priorities, or technology lifecycle. The contractor shall ensure specific requirements, objectives, trade-offs, and constraints shall be included in the feasibility studies. The contractor shall ensure that feasibility studies present multiple approaches to risk analysis, software, hardware, and operational procedure changes. The report shall include an estimate of the cost and effort required for each approach.

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
 

DSA - Salary Pay Range
$170,000—$175,000 USD
