This role is in Fremont CA.

Key Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US customers throughout battery cell and/or pack development programsĀ 
  • Lead customer engagement, including technical discussions, program reviews, issue resolution, and escalation managementĀ 
  • Lead and facilitate technical meetings and workshops; ensure clear documentation, action tracking, and alignment with internal teams and customersĀ 
  • Lead cross functional teamsĀ throughoutĀ RFI/RFQsĀ processĀ and technical proposals in collaboration with engineering and commercial teamsĀ 
  • Lead the development of battery cell and pack programs from concept through production, coordinating closely with customers and internal cross functional teamsĀ 
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed program schedules, milestones, and deliverablesĀ 
  • Identify program risks across technical, schedule, cost, and quality and drive mitigation plansĀ 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial across regionsĀ to meet program timing, deliverables and costĀ 
  • Regularly communicate program status, risks, and key decisions to engineering and executive leadershipĀ 
  • Identify and drive innovative solutions to overcome technical and program obstacles while maintaining schedule adherenceĀ 
  • Prioritize and track cross-functional action items, balancing resources, risks, and program outcomesĀ 
  • Support on-site customer meetings, technical workshops, and plant visits in the US and ChinaĀ 
  • Support DFMEA, PFMEA, DV/PV, APQP, and PPAP activities as required by customer programsĀ 
  • Up to 30% domestic and international travelĀ 

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree in EngineeringĀ (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or related discipline)Ā 
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive, EV, or energy storage product developmentĀ 
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or equivalent customer-facing leadership rolesĀ 
  • Good understanding of Li-ion battery cell and/or battery pack systems, including development and validation processesĀ 
  • Proven experience working directly with US or global automotive OEM customersĀ 
  • Solid knowledge of automotive product development and launch processes, including DV/PV, APQP, and PPAPĀ 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical programs involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and evolving requirementsĀ 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers and senior leadershipĀ 
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as requiredĀ 

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

$200,000—$240,000 USD
