This position is full time, in person, at our Frisco location from 7:30am-4:30pm, with rotating weekends coverage. The IVF Coordinator-RN will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within a fully functional fertility clinic, providing high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the assisted conception pathway. The role involves supporting individuals and couples undergoing fertility investigations and treatments, including ovulation induction, donor insemination, intra-uterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and gamete/embryo donation programs. The IVF Coordinator-RN will deliver safe and evidence-based clinical care, patient education, emotional support, treatment coordination, and ongoing monitoring, always ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinic protocols. 聽 Key Responsibilities 聽 1. Clinical Duties 路 Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing fertility assessment and treatment. 路 Support and prepare patients for procedures such as follicle tracking scans, transvaginal oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers, IUI, and semen preparation. 路 Administer medications including stimulation injections, trigger injections, luteal support, and other prescribed treatments. 路 Perform venipuncture and relevant clinical observations. 路 Assist clinicians during procedures and maintain sterile technique as required. 路 Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, recognizing and responding to complications such as OHSS (Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome). 路 Maintain accurate documentation and electronic patient records in line with clinic and legal standards. 路 Other duties as assigned. 聽 2. Treatment Coordination & Patient Support 路 Act as a key point of contact for patients throughout their treatment cycle. 路 Provide clear, sensitive, and timely information on treatment processes, medication schedules, consent requirements, and follow-up steps. 路 Deliver nurse-led consultations, including treatment planning, consent appointments, and medication teaching. 路 Offer emotional support and appropriate referral for counselling or additional services when needed. 路 Ensure continuity of care and effective communication between the medical, laboratory, administrative, and counselling teams. 聽 3. Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities 路 Adhere to local and national guidelines, including HFEA (or relevant regulatory body) standards, clinic SOPs, and safeguarding procedures. 路 Support completion and verification of treatment consents, legal parenthood documentation, and donor-related regulatory requirements. 路 Participate in internal audits, incident reporting, and quality improvement initiatives. 路 Always maintain confidentiality and data-protection compliance. 聽 4. Professional Development 路 Engage in ongoing clinical training, fertility-specific education, and competency assessments. 路 Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and multidisciplinary discussions. 路 Maintain professional registration and keep up to date with advancements in fertility treatment, nursing practice, and relevant legislation. 聽 5. Administrative & Operational Tasks 路 Coordinate patient appointments, treatment cycles, and communication pathways. 路 Ensure availability and safe storage of clinic medications and consumables. 路 Contribute to efficient clinic flow and support the operational needs of the unit. 路 Assist with patient information development, service improvements, and patient experience initiatives. 聽 Skills & Competencies 路 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support patients through emotionally sensitive situations. 路 Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities. 路 High standard of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. 路 Ability to work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team. 路 Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach. 路 Confidence with clinical IT systems and electronic patient records. 聽 Qualifications & Experience Essential: 路 BSN Registered Nurse (RN) with current professional registration. 路 Previous experience in acute care, women鈥檚 health, gynecology, or related specialty. 路 Competency in venipuncture and administration of medications. 路 Basic Life Support 聽 Desirable: 路 Experience in fertility or reproductive medicine. 聽 Working Conditions: 路 May occasionally be asked to work in other Dallas IVF locations to cover clinic needs 路 Weekend rotations will be in Frisco 路 Exposure to emotionally sensitive conversations and situations. 路 Requirement to provide safe care within a busy, time-sensitive clinical environment.
