About the RoleĀ 

The Scribe will provide administrative support to Physicians.Ā Ā Ā 

Ā 

What You’ll Be DoingĀ 

  • Interact and work with the patients and provider in order to accurately document every aspect of a patient’s encounterĀ 

  • Work under pressure effectively in a calm and timely mannerĀ 

  • Make and receive phone calls on behalf of the provider as necessaryĀ 

  • Be able to successfully navigate through Electronic Medical Records System (EMR)Ā 

  • Recognize the physical exam process and possess the ability to record exam detailsĀ 

  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to document patient care as dictated by the provider in a legible and clear manner, following all local, state, and federal guidelines for documentationĀ 

  • Complete and present the medical record in collaboration with the supervising physicianĀ

What We Expect from YouĀ 

  • High School DiplomaĀ 

  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingĀ 

  • Interact professionally and positively with all patients, colleagues, managers and executive teamĀ 

  • Exhibit a high degree of maturity, integrity, loyalty, creativity, and strict confidentiality with HIPPA compliance in all daily tasks.Ā 

  • One to two years of experience working in a medical practice as a Medical AssistantĀ 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsĀ 

  • Electronic Medical Records experienceĀ

Reasoning AbilityĀ Ā 

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ā

Computer SkillsĀ 

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.Ā Ā Ā
