Overview

 

MB2 Dental has an opening for a Regional Manager to support our affiliated practices across the Virginia market! This role serves as an operational leader within the territory and acts as the primary liaison between the offices and support departments. The Regional Manager is responsible for supporting multiple practices, driving operational performance, developing office leadership teams, and partnering with providers to achieve business and patient care goals across the region. You will have the ability to work on-site and remotely while supporting your assigned practices. Regular travel throughout the region is required.

We offer all this and a compensation package of $80,000 - $90,000+ per year that includes health insurance plans, a competitive bonus structure, PTO, and 401(k).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the operational leader for an assigned portfolio of affiliated dental practices, partnering with providers and office leadership teams to drive practice performance and growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop office leadership teams to improve operational effectiveness, team engagement, accountability, and patient experience across multiple locations.
  • Analyze key business metrics, including production, collections, profitability, patient retention, and growth opportunities, and implement action plans to improve performance.
  • Partner with providers and support departments to identify opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, patient experience, and overall business results.
  • Support the onboarding, development, and succession planning of office leadership while ensuring alignment with company initiatives, policies, and operational standards.
  • Partner with the Human Resources department regarding employee relations, performance management, leadership coaching, workforce planning, performance improvement plans, and performance warnings.
  • Attend meetings, training courses, and professional development opportunities as required while serving as a resource and leader for supported practices.
  • Partner with dentists and regional operations leadership to make strategic operational decisions that support practice growth, team development, and financial success.
  • Hold office leadership teams accountable to company policies, required workplace training, HIPAA compliance, OSHA standards, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Review operating performance results, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective action plans to improve operational and financial outcomes throughout the territory.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of dental operations leadership experience required.
  • Must have previous multi-office management experience.
  • Must have strong P&L knowledge.
  • High school diploma or GED required, 4-year Bachelor's preferred, or equivalent management experience in the dental field.
  • Sales and Customer Service experience is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to multi-task, delegate, develop leaders, and hold others accountable.
  • Computer literacy and typing proficiency (preferred proficiency in the operation of Dentrix and Dexis software).
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing.
  • Must be available to work some Saturdays.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
