Position Overview: This position supports the anticipated U.S. Marine Corps Program Office Support effort at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA as a Software License Manager. The Software License Manager is the central administrator for a Marine Corps program office Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software portfolio spanning fielded, laboratory, test, and training assets, managing every license from activation through deactivation. Job Type: Full-time/Exempt

Location: MCB Quantico, VA

Anticipated Start Date: December 2026, contingent upon contract award.

Position Responsibilities:

• Draft license management procedures for Government approval; coordinate incoming COTS requests and facilitate      procurement workflows
• Maintain configuration status records, expiration and renewal schedules, portfolio cost forecasts with fair share allocation, utilization and accounting summaries, and procurement timelines with purchase order status
• Identify the applicable agreement and procurement path for each requirement across program, Marine Corps enterprise, Department of War enterprise, and manufacturer agreements; validate entitlements and quantities
• Analyze the portfolio continuously for consolidation opportunities and recommend license approach, quantity, and cross-program optimization changes
• Track software and firmware versions within license and configuration management in support of cybersecurity and Authority to Operate requirements

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• Four (4) years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Active SECRET security clearance required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with enterprise licensing agreements and software asset management tools
• Familiarity with DoD procurement workflows and purchase order tracking

United States of America: $70,000 USD – $90,000 USD
