We’re currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to join our Emergency Department at our Galion location.

Position Overview

Responsible for direction of patient care activities in the Emergency Department. Manages staff in the Emergency Department, provides management of operational and nursing activities. Consults with staff, Emergency Department Physician Director, physicians and the Nurse Executive on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• Three (3) years or more years of experience in all aspects of emergency nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS Certification.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC or if not certified need to acquire within one year of hire.

Preferred:

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Previous experience working as a Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager in an Emergency Department.
