Quality Technician

Allegiant Manufacturing | Gallatin, TN

Allegiant Manufacturing, a leading provider of metal stamping, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and machining solutions, is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in Gallatin, Tennessee.

What You'll Do

  • Perform inspections of stamped and fabricated metal parts
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Use measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and specialty gages
  • Complete first-piece inspections and dimensional layouts
  • Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
  • Maintain quality records and documentation
  • Support customer quality requirements and PPAP activities

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two years of quality inspection, manufacturing, or related experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience with CMMs, 3D scanning, and PolyWorks
  • Internal auditing experience
  • Manufacturing quality systems experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
