Summary:

As our Human Resources Manager, you will be a strategic partner to the site leadership team, responsible for leading the HR operations and processes at our Garden Grove site. You will participate in crucial initiatives regarding employee relations, talent development, performance management, and legal compliance. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of our People strategy.

 

Leadership & Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership & Operations

  • HR Operations Leadership: Lead HR operations and processes for the site, serving as a key advisor to site leadership.
  • Employee Relations & Guidance: Oversee employee relations, conduct thorough investigations, and provide guidance on complex HR matters to ensure fairness and compliance.

Talent & Culture

  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Effectively close talent gaps by attracting, retaining, and developing top-tier talent that aligns with our mission.
  • Culture & Workplace Engagement: Champion our culture while helping to build a strong, thriving organization, utilizing feedback from surveys and employee reviews to drive continuous improvement.

 

Position Requirements:

 

Education & Technical Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of progressive HR experience in a mid-sized manufacturing environment, with significant contributions in a multi-site structure.
  • Industry Domain: Experience in fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., Aerospace, Defense, Medical Device).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Well-versed in employment laws and regulations, especially California labor law.

 

Certifications & Competencies:

  • Certifications: SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.
  • Systems Proficiency: Experience with ADP, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Core Competencies: Strategic business acumen, data literacy, exceptional communication skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
