Job DetailsJob Location: Transportation Group Mgt - Cleveland, OH 44125Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 Base+Commission/yearThe Corporate Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for positions across all Valley Truck Centers locations. This role partners closely with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, source qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, facilitate the hiring process, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.  The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-focused, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.  Since 1964, Valley Truck Centers has been a locally owned and family-operated dealership group committed to putting our employees first. If you're passionate about connecting great talent with rewarding careers and want to make a meaningful impact on a growing organization, we'd love to meet you.  Our dealership group includes:  Automotive dealerships  Commercial truck dealerships  Truck upfitting operations  Freightliner and Western Star dealerships  As our Corporate Recruiter, you will play a critical role in attracting top talent across multiple business divisions, partnering with leadership to build high-performing teams that drive our continued success.  Essential Responsibilities  Manage all phases of the recruitment lifecycle from requisition through onboarding.  Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.  Create and maintain accurate, engaging job descriptions and job postings.  Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, career fairs, and industry partnerships.  Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to identify top candidates.  Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.  Participate in interviews and provide guidance throughout the selection process.  Partner with hiring managers during the offer process, including compensation recommendations, start dates, and offer preparation.  Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.  Track recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates to leadership.  Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.  Represent Valley Truck Centers at college recruiting events, trade schools, career fairs, military hiring events, and community networking opportunities.  Support employer branding initiatives and promote Valley Truck Centers as an employer of choice.  Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation as needed.  Perform additional Human Resources and recruiting duties as assigned.  Required  Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.  Minimum of three- five years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in automotive, commercial transportation, manufacturing, skilled trades, or dealership environments.  Experience recruiting for a variety of positions, including technicians, diesel mechanics, sales professionals, administrative staff, management, and skilled trades.  Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and communication skills.  Ability to prioritize multiple openings while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.  Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.  Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.  Skills & Competencies  Excellent verbal and written communication  Strong interpersonal and networking abilities  Relationship-driven and customer-service focused  Self-motivated with strong initiative  Excellent organizational and time management skills  Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism  Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills  Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments  Salary  This is a base plus commission role.   Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Supplemental voluntary insurances available.
