JOB DESCRIPTION:

Communicate effectively with court staff, attorneys, judges, and defendants
Maintain safety and order in the courtroom
Call the court to order
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the police department, lake county prosecutor’s Office, and Clerk’s Office
Handle evidence and court documents
Escort jurors, witnesses, and prisoners
Other duties assigned
