Location: Hawthorne Valley Farm Store is seeking part-time baristas to join our team at our store in Ghent, NY.

Pay: $19 - $21 per hour. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

The Role

At Hawthorne Valley, we are committed to caring for our customer. We will have two shifts a day, an opening shift and a closing shift. The opener will be responsible for setting the day up for success. The closer will be responsible for break down and leaving the coffee trailer in good condition for the next day. This role requires comfort working alone or with coworkers, and members of the public on a daily basis, as well as a positive, respectful presence that reflects Hawthorne Valley’s values.

Schedule

• Part-time: Monday – Friday or Tuesday – Saturday, depending on the season. 
• Training will be held the first few weeks Monday–Friday, per a schedule made with your manager. Once you are fully trained you will adjust to your formal schedule.
• On Call Requirements: Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to support events or emergencies
