What You Can Expect Maintains a clean and safe work area, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition Follows instructions and guidelines provided by direct supervisor and adheres to established protocols and processes Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks and inspections as directed to avoid equipment issues Performs basic repairs and service on warehouse equipment, small engines, lawn mowers and related equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications Maintains neat and orderly records of equipment maintenance and repairs Safely maintains and cares for tools and equipment, conducting daily inspections Monitors, maintains, and updates warehouse equipment parts inventory as needed Assists with troubleshooting and minor maintenance issues throughout the store/yard as needed Provides training to employees in warehouse equipment repair as required   What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 6 months of experience in warehouse maintenance and vehicle background Basic understanding of electronics, hydraulics, brakes, welding, and general maintenance may be required Basic knowledge of lawn mower repair, small engine service, general maintenance and equipment troubleshooting required Proficiency in operating a pallet jack, forklift, and rolling truck stock Physical fitness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to temperature variations and inclement weather Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and stoop as necessary Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required Demonstrated commitment to safety and responsible practices Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing 25-50 lbs consistently or 50+ lbs with assistance Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the business Good communication skills are essential for interacting with customers, dispatchers, and team members effectively Results-oriented with the ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible Strong interpersonal skills with the willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills   Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule based on business needs, including Monday through Friday and Saturdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
