Job Summary |
The primary responsibility of the Transportation Manager is the oversight of international and domestic transportation service providers for all company locations and related logistics processes. Â This position requires knowledge of transportation planning processes and systems, freight rate negotiations for the modes of shipment including truckload, LTL, Parcel, International freight services (FCL, LCL, Air), US Customs, HAZMAT and DOT regulation and freight payment and auditing services. Â Additionally, the Transportation Manager leads the freight payables and accrual process. |
