At myHHBS, we are a growing team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts, Master Level Supervisors, Registered Behavior Technicians, and Behavior Therapists in the field of Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA).聽 We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Behavior Therapists for part-time positions to deliver quality, compassionate and empathetic one-on-one services throughout Los Angeles County.聽This job is a terrific opportunity to help children develop appropriate social behaviors and life skills.聽 We offer paid training and will help guide, support, and mentor your career in Behavior Analysis.

Location 1:聽East Los Angeles, Downtown Los Angeles, Huntington Park
Must be available within the hours of 3:00-7:30 at least 3 days during the week (Mon-Fri)
Requirements
Behavior Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Help implement treatment plans as part of a dynamic team under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Master鈥檚 level supervisor.
. 聽 聽Collect data on all programs.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Analyze and assist young clients in developing appropriate social behaviors and life skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Record detailed observation notes for every client
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate with family members to obtain feedback on progress and provide support
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Attend clinical team meetings and training sessions
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work independently as well as on a team, taking instruction and constructive feedback positively to ensure a high quality of service to the client
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Record detailed observation notes for every client

Behavior Therapist Requirements and Qualifications:
路聽 聽 聽 聽聽Flexible afternoon/early evening schedule
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology, social work, or related field (preferred)聽- Max hourly rate is if applicant has MA/MS degree
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma/GED certificate and AA/60 college course units (required)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Spanish (preferred)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology, social work, or related field (preferred)聽- Max hourly rate is if applicant has MA/MS degree
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma/GED certificate and AA/60 college course units (required)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Spanish (preferred)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working with children, preferably those with special needs
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽RBT certification (or willingness to become certified)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to lift 40 pounds and sit/play on the floor for extended periods of time
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Negative TB test within the last 60 days
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have valid Driver鈥檚 License, proof of insurance, and own transportation聽 路聽聽聽聽聽聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽RBT certification (or willingness to become certified)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to lift 40 pounds and sit/play on the floor for extended periods of time
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Negative TB test within the last 60 days

Pay Rate: $25-$35 per hour
