Position Summary:

Holy Trinity Episcopal School is seeking a highly organized, service-oriented, and technically capable SIS & Database Manager / Technology Support Specialist to manage the day-to-day operations of the school's Blackbaud Student Information System (SIS) while also providing hands-on technology support to faculty, staff, students, and families.

This position combines two critical areas of school technology: student information system and database administration and front-line technology support. The position serves as a primary point of contact for Blackbaud SIS questions and support while assisting with classroom technology, student and faculty devices, user accounts, software, printers, connectivity, and the school's 1:1 device program.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary administrator for Blackbaud SIS: manage annual setup (scheduling, rostering, grading periods, report cards, year-end rollover), user accounts/permissions, and data integrity/security.
  • Generate and maintain SIS reports (enrollment, grading, academic progress) and support data imports, exports, and cleanup.
  • Provide first-tier tech support to faculty, staff, and students — troubleshooting hardware/software, account access, and password resets.
  • Manage the 1:1 device program: distribution, collection, damage inspection, and vendor coordination for repairs.
  • Support classroom and network technology (laptops, tablets, Promethean boards, printers, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
  • Maintain documentation and train staff on SIS and technology procedures.
  • Follow data security/privacy practices and escalate issues to the CFO as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, education technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience administering a Student Information System; Blackbaud experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in school, nonprofit, or similar tech support settings preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, laptops/tablets, printers, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong Excel/data-management skills and comfort with databases and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to travel between campuses and lift/set up classroom technology equipment.

Disclosure(s):

Candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check, a Child Protection Services screening, and MSDE Employment History Review for Child Sexual Abuse and Sexual Misconduct, and a driving record screening before employment.
