Job DetailsJob Location: Glenview Tennis Club - Glenview, IL 60025Position Type: Part Time“Recreate” a better life with a career in the field of Parks & Recreation! JOB SUMMARY This Junior Tennis Professional position focuses on instructing and supervising junior players in a structured and engaging environment. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and leading after-school group lessons held several days per week, as well as supporting seasonal programming such as morning camps, full-day camps, and afternoon group sessions during the summer. The role involves providing tennis instruction, coordinating activities, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants. This position is responsible for, but not limited to: Provide beginning to intermediate instruction in camps and group lessons in a professional manner Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers Expected to work a varied schedule including some weekends as needed Other administrative as assigned by the Supervisory staff QUALIFICATIONS Experience: High School playing experience or working with children preferred Must hold or obtain within 90 days, CPR/AED and other certifications (provided by the Glenview Park District) SCHEDULING AND PAY This is a part-time, year round position. Indoor Season Schedule: Classes are held Monday – Friday after 4:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM-12:00PM. Weekly hours typically range from 1-6 hours.
