About the Role As a STOTT PILATES Reformer Instructor, you will support members in reaching their fitness goals by leading engaging and effective Pilates classes in a welcoming and motivating environment. Classes are offered on weekday and weekend mornings, creating a consistent and energizing start to the day for our members. In this role, you will: ✅ Lead safe, dynamic STOTT PILATES Reformer classes ✅ Educate participants on proper form, technique, and body awareness ✅ Provide modifications to support all fitness levels and abilities ✅ Create an encouraging and inclusive class environment ✅ Inspire member engagement and retention through positive coaching You’ll teach in a state-of-the-art new Pilates studio, featuring high-quality reformers and modern fitness spaces designed to support both instructors and participants in an elevated workout experience. What You Bring ✔ Experience teaching fitness or Pilates-based classes ✔ STOTT PILATES Reformer certification (or equivalent) ✔ Strong knowledge of exercise principles and safe training techniques ✔ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ✔ Ability to engage and motivate a diverse community of members Why Work for the YMCA? Qualifications Candidate must hold a current certification (or be working toward certification) in STOTT PILATES Reformer; Candidate must be comfortable teaching small group Reformer classes and coaching one-on-one training on the Reformer; Candidate must be a team player and support the YMCA by modeling our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
