About the Role:

The Operations - Grain position is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and safe handling, transportation, and storage of grain products within the agricultural supply chain. This role focuses on coordinating rail operations and managing the loading and unloading of trucks to maintain seamless grain flow from origin to destination. The successful candidate will oversee compliance with rail safety standards and follow best practices in grain handling to minimize losses and maintain product quality. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to the reliability and profitability of grain distribution by maintaining high standards of operational excellence and safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in rail operations and grain handling within the agriculture industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of rail safety regulations and best practices in loading and unloading procedures.
  • Ability to operate and oversee grain handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring procedures are followed to prevent damage and contamination of grain.
  • Adhering to grain handling processes, including storage, to maintain product integrity.
  • Ability to take receive direction and work with a diverse group of team members. 

Skills:

Loading and Unloading Trucks skills are applied daily to manage the physical transfer of grain, requiring attention to detail and adherence to protocols to prevent product loss or damage. Grain Handling expertise is essential for maintaining the quality and integrity of the grain throughout storage and transit. Together, 


12-Hour shifts - 7 AM - 7 PM Mon-Fri; and 7 AM - 12 PM on Sunday. Employees will be scheduled 6 days per week.
