Product Assurance Manager

The Role

As an experienced Product Assurance Manager, you will use yourexpertise to ensure our products meet our exacting quality standards. This is acritical role in our organisation as you will be working across multipleprojects identifying and executing strategies to ensure high quality standards,adherence to processes, managing any non-conformances and undertaking rootcause analysis.  You will also approveproject inspections and have responsibility for materials, parts and componentprocess selection.

Reporting to the Lead Product Assurance Manager, you will workalongside our Engineering and MAIT teams ensuring all project deliverables arein line with the project product assurance plan.  You will also be responsible for identifyingand executing process improvements across the PA lifecycle.  This role will also support Quality Assuranceby conducting internal audits and analysing the results to identify andimplement improvements. 

You will have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or anequivalent area, have previous experience of Product Assurance and/or QualityAssurance preferably in the Space sector or another technically focusedindustry, you will also be familiar with ISO 9001 and have experience withparts, component and materials selection and qualification. A goodunderstanding of the Product Assurance discipline is necessary to tailor theapproach to the level of risk tolerated for each project (e.g. traditional vs.new space), enablinginformed trade‑offs on cost, schedule, and technical risk through evidence‑basedassurance. You will also haveexcellent communication and influencing skills, strong project managementexperience along with being proactive and open to driving process improvements.
