Caregiver – In-Home Senior Care

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate, dependable, and responsible caregivers to provide personalized in-home care for seniors in the Granbury, Texas area.

We have full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities for individuals who enjoy helping others and want to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors. Our caregivers help clients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life while remaining in their own homes.

• Competitive pay of $15.50–$17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Job Responsibilities

Caregivers provide assistance based on each client's individual needs and established care plan. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Providing toileting and mobility assistance
• Helping clients with safe transfers, as appropriate to their training and abilities
• Preparing meals and assisting with basic kitchen tasks
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders
• Offering companionship and engaging clients in meaningful activities
• Assisting with daily routines and activities of daily living
• Accompanying clients to appointments or errands when needed
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or needs to the appropriate team member

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience preferred
• Experience caring for seniors is an advantage
• Dementia or Alzheimer's care experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful
• Ability to work independently and follow client care plans
• Willingness to complete required company training
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of assigned caregiving duties, with or without reasonable accommodation
