Clinical Informaticist  - FT Granby, CO *$2000 Sign-on + $430/mo Living Stipend* for FT Perm

Job Purpose

• The Clinical Informaticist serves as the primary liaison between clinical operations, Information Technology, and electronic health record (EHR) partners. This position is responsible for improving the effective use of clinical technologies, optimizing workflows, supporting end-user adoption, and promoting data-driven improvements in patient care and operational performance.
• The Clinical Informaticist works closely with Nursing, Providers, Rehabilitation Services, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, and other clinical departments to identify opportunities for workflow improvement, support regulatory and quality initiatives, coordinate system enhancements, assist with training and education, and ensure clinical information systems effectively support patient care objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze existing clinical workflows and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, patient safety, and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with department leaders and frontline staff to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate the impact of system changes on clinical operations.
• Assist with workflow redesign initiatives and technology adoption efforts.

EMR and Clinical Systems Support

• Act as a subject matter expert for clinical information systems.
• Support implementation, configuration, testing, and optimization of EMR functionality.
• Coordinate clinical system upgrades, enhancements, and change requests.
• Document workflows, procedures, and system requirements.
• Participate in application testing and validation activities.
• Develop and provide one-on-one and group training for end users.
• Participate in clinical technology projects from planning through implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Sciences, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Clinical Professional, or other healthcare credential (preferred.)
• Three (3) years experience in a healthcare environment with EMR.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Healthcare informatics certification or related professional certification (preferred.)
• Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Status - Full-Time Days

Location - Granby, CO

Compensation: $42.50 - $48.00/hr Depending on years experience + FT Perm receive $2000 Sign-on bonus and $430/mo Living Stipend eligibility for residing in Grand, Jackson or Summit county.
