Job DetailsJob Location: Grand Island, NE 68801Position Type: Per DiemEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 HourlyJob Shift: AnyMid-Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services is currently seeking a high energy and reliable PRN Psych Tech for our Crisis Stabilization Unit. This unit is a 12 bed, mental health stabilization and medically assisted detox unit, and is the only unit of its kind in the state. PRN CSU Aides will work 12 hour shifts Monday-Friday and Weekends, days (7am-7pm) and nights (7pm-7am), or partial shifts, as needed. Essential Job Results: • Provide support to the CSU team members; especially to CSU Nurse to ensure consumers needs are identified and met. • Facilitate the greeting of consumers, identify their needs, reassure consumers of the process for risk assessments, and keep consumer informed of next steps towards their stabilization. • Answer crisis calls from community members in distress. • Complete all duties on the CSU Shift Report; which includes maintaining a clean and appropriate environment (cleaning rooms so new consumers may be admitted, laundry, ensuring all areas of the facility are safe and clean, setting out groceries for the daily menu, etc.). Qualifications• High School diploma or equivalent. • One or more years of job-related work experience. • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken). Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish is desired. • Excellent organizational skills
