The Customer Data Steward plays a critical role in managing customer master data integrity across regions. This position ensures customer data aligns with business rules, supports governance initiatives, and contributes to accurate reporting and process efficiency.

The role acts as a liaison between the Customer Data Object Owner and local users and provides support with customer data standards, quality initiatives, and MDG-related activities.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $84,750 - $124,300 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What you will do in this role:

  • Implement and enforce customer data governance policies and standards across regional/local entities.
  • Support the Data Object Owner in defining governance rules and harmonization initiatives.
  • Define and monitor customer data quality rules; conduct regular audits and cleansing.
  • Support the Data Quality Manager in analyzing issues and driving improvements.
  • Support creation, updates, and corrections of customer master data.
  • Ensure proper classification, hierarchy, and consistency in customer records.
  • Manage MDG-related support requests, align with application engineers, and support business-side resolution.
  • Provide access support and onboarding for customer data tools.
  • Coordinate with Key Users to deliver training and support for local teams.
  • Represent regional/local business requirements in global data initiatives.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience managing customer data within ERP (preferably SAP) and MDG environments.
  • Strong data quality and governance knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritize and project manage important deliverables for the role in a matrix environment
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills in cross-functional settings.
  • Ability to work across time zones with international teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
