Emmanuel Hospice is seeking a compassionate, dependable Hospice Aide (CNA) who is based in or familiar with Ottawa County and the surrounding Lakeshore communities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships while providing exceptional end-of-life care to patients and families throughout the area they call home.

As a Full-Time Hospice Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), you will play a vital role in delivering hands-on care across Ottawa County and neighboring communities, supporting patients wherever they reside. We are specifically looking for candidates who can comfortably travel throughout the Lakeshore region and have a strong understanding of the local communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Float across homes and facilities within a 50-mile radius of Grand Rapids, with a primary focus on Ottawa County and the Lakeshore service area.
• Work a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with participation in a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.
• Deliver hands-on personal care and activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Adapt quickly to different care environments and patient needs, ensuring consistent, high-quality support.
• Collaborate with a flexible and supportive CNA team, stepping in to maintain continuity of care during staff absences or increased patient volume.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the State of Michigan.
• Reside in or near Ottawa County, MI, or surrounding Lakeshore communities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Lakeshore service area.
• Previous CNA experience required; hospice, home care, or community-based care experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a heart for compassionate care.
