About the Role

Kendrick Plastics is seeking a Master Scheduler to manage customer demand, shipping schedules, inventory planning, and customer-specific requirements while ensuring exceptional customer performance ratings.

This role is critical to maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring on-time delivery in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

āœ… Manage customer demand planning, forecasting, and inventory levels

āœ… Monitor customer EDI and ERP systems, identifying and resolving issues that may impact delivery performance

āœ… Coordinate customer shipment schedules, delivery routing, and order maintenance

āœ… Serve as a customer point of contact and provide proactive communication regarding delivery risks and supply concerns

āœ… Track inbound and outbound premium freight costs

āœ… Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively

āœ… Support engineering changes (ECNs), product launches, and obsolescence planning

āœ… Develop inventory plans for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods

āœ… Maintain ERP data integrity, item parameters, customer information, and product data

āœ… Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities

āœ… Establish and maintain freight routing strategies to meet delivery and cost objectives

Minimum Qualifications

āœ” Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

OR

āœ” 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, customer scheduling, or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment

āœ” Experience with ERP systems and scheduling software (Plex experience is a plus)

āœ” Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills

āœ” Ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Automotive manufacturing experience

⭐ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and data visualization

⭐ Experience in high-volume, fast-paced production environments

⭐ Strong written and verbal communication skills

⭐ Proven ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
