About the Role
Kendrick Plastics is seeking a Master Scheduler to manage customer demand, shipping schedules, inventory planning, and customer-specific requirements while ensuring exceptional customer performance ratings.
This role is critical to maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring on-time delivery in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
ā Manage customer demand planning, forecasting, and inventory levels
ā Monitor customer EDI and ERP systems, identifying and resolving issues that may impact delivery performance
ā Coordinate customer shipment schedules, delivery routing, and order maintenance
ā Serve as a customer point of contact and provide proactive communication regarding delivery risks and supply concerns
ā Track inbound and outbound premium freight costs
ā Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively
ā Support engineering changes (ECNs), product launches, and obsolescence planning
ā Develop inventory plans for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
ā Maintain ERP data integrity, item parameters, customer information, and product data
ā Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities
ā Establish and maintain freight routing strategies to meet delivery and cost objectives
Minimum Qualifications
ā Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
OR
ā 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, customer scheduling, or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment
ā Experience with ERP systems and scheduling software (Plex experience is a plus)
ā Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
ā Ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
Preferred Qualifications
ā Automotive manufacturing experience
ā Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and data visualization
ā Experience in high-volume, fast-paced production environments
ā Strong written and verbal communication skills
ā Proven ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
