Veterinary Technician at VCA Northeast Animal Hospital

Schedule: Full- time opportunity with rotating Saturdays.

 

Compensation: $ 21 - 25/hr and the starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.

VCA Northeast Animal Hospital is a 4-doctor practice providing progressive veterinary care with services including wellness medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and individualized treatment plans. As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet’s care with confidence and compassion. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery  

  • Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs  

  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments  

  • Collect samples and run in-house diagnostics  

  • Place catheters and support patient treatments  

  • Educate clients on care plans, medications, and follow-up

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE  

  • Strong technical and clinical skills  

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
