Description

GMB is currently seeking interns for the summer of 2027 to join our Team of Teams! GMB is a full-service firm, and we are looking for interns studying: Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Structural Engineering. We embrace a hybrid work environment, and internships are located in Holland, Grand Rapids, and Royal Oak, Michigan. Thank you for your interest!We will begin assessing applicants mid-October.

  • Build collaborative, professional working relationships with multidisciplinary design teams in K-12 and Higher Education markets.
  • Learn and develop solutions to technical and design challenges
  • Join a hybrid work environment with the ability to work in the field or one of our learning hubs as needed.

What qualities do I need to succeed in this role?

  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's from an accredited university
  • Willingness to learn and effectively communicate with various staff and clients
  • A team player that enjoys a collaborative work environment
  • A passion for learning and growth

What might set you apart from other candidates?

  • Past internship or volunteer experience in the architectural engineering consulting field
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite, including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
