As a Utility Painter, you will prepare and paint exterior natural gas piping on the roof of our Grand Rapids facility. You will ensure surfaces are properly prepared, coatings are applied safely and effectively, and all work meets company and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare rooftop gas lines by cleaning and removing rust, loose paint, dirt, and other contaminants.
Apply coatings using spray equipment and other approved painting methods.
Operate and maintain painting equipment, tools, and materials according to manufacturer guidelines.
Safely access and work on rooftops and elevated areas.
Follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, fall protection procedures, and PPE requirements.
Promptly report safety hazards, equipment issues, and project concerns to supervisors.

What You Bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Required.
Ability to safely work at heights and on rooftop surfaces.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently.
