RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
- Provide routine wellness exams and diagnosisÂ
- Perform medical procedures such as vaccinations, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, and necessary diagnosticsÂ
- Administer and accurately monitor controlled substancesÂ
- Maintain and complete patient recordsÂ
- Serve as mentor to technical support staffÂ
- Build and establish rapport with the client base, demonstrating exceptional bedside manner and communication while providing clear communication on ongoing home treatmentÂ
QUALIFICATIONS:Â
- Graduate of an AVMA accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) programÂ
- Licensure in the state of Missouri or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to startÂ
- Proficiency in medical knowledge and externship experience in surgical proceduresÂ
- Exemplary professionalism and communication skills with both team members and clientsÂ
- Strong decision-making and time-management skillsÂ
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growthÂ
