CGRC’s Outpatient Services Program provides outpatient services that help children and adolescents with depression, anxiety, stress, anger, self-esteem, ADHD, bereavement or other emotional, social and behavioral difficulties. Following a comprehensive assessment and consultation, Outpatient Clinicians identify the child’s needs and make recommendations for treatment. Treatment may consist of one or more of the following: individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and/or medication management. Generally, sessions are about one hour weekly, though depending on the child’s needs, the pace may vary. Evidence-based treatments such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, and The Incredible Years are also available.  NOTE:  This is an unpaid internship.
