Transportation

Summary of Position:

Transportation staff is responsible for safely transporting our children and parents to and from RE Services. Staff will be responsible for following the RE Services transportation policy and Montana State transportation laws.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Effectively carry out a transportation schedule provided by the Transportation Manager.

• Plan an efficient and safe route for transport to and from RE Services.

• Document mileage and time, immediately upon arrival, reviewing pertinent information with advocates.

• Must be able to properly hold a child up to 25-30 pounds, plus a car seat with an infant.

• Ensure children are securely and appropriately buckled into car seats before transportation.

• Inspect the vehicle prior to use, reporting to the Transportation Manager if there are any concerns.

• Help to ensure vehicle maintenance is completed routinely.

• Adhere to local transportation laws and RE Services transportation policy.

• Collaborate with manager and staff to implement best practices. 

• If necessary, aid in investigations in cooperation with government agencies to determine causes of any accidents to improve upon safety features.

• 15-20 hours a week depending on your needs Monday-Friday 

Pay Scale:

• $15-16.25
