About the Role

The Seasonal Rink Maintenance team member helps keep the ice rink safe, clean, and ready for skaters. This job includes maintaining the ice, checking equipment, cleaning the rink, and making sure everything is working properly. You'll work with the rink staff to keep the facility running smoothly throughout the season.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills.

• Ability to work in cold temperatures for long periods.

• Strong attention to safety and detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous rink maintenance experience.

• Knowledge of ice-making or refrigeration systems.

• Equipment operation or maintenance certification.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Resurface and maintain the ice each day.

• Check ice quality and make adjustments as needed.

• Inspect and perform basic repairs on rink equipment and facilities.

• Keep the rink clean and free of snow, debris, and safety hazards.

• Report maintenance issues to management.

• Help with setting up and taking down seasonal rink equipment.

• Follow all safety procedures.
