Develop, implement, and facilitate therapeutic activities consistent with the agency's Model of Care. You'll offer appropriate interventions to assist in maintaining consumer baseline behaviors. As a Behavioral Health Counselor, you'll ensure the safety of consumers and maintain the cleanliness of our Facility Based Crisis Center. You will provide continuous monitoring of clients in crisis and report behaviors to therapeutic and medical staff. You will also participate in 1 to 1 monitoring of clients when deemed appropriate. You will assist in facilitating and monitoring phone calls and visitation to the FBC. A full job description can be provided to interested/qualified candidates.Qualifications: Education and Experience High school diploma is required. B.A./B.S. in a related human service field is preferred. Four years of experience in Mental Health is preferred. Ability to solve practical problems and address various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
