What You’ll Do:

The Parts Back Counter Assistant supports daily shop operations by pulling parts for repair orders, tracking work-in-process reports, and maintaining accurate order updates. This role manages core returns, warranty parts, and vendor returns while assisting with emergency parts deliveries, inventory organization, and warehouse tasks. Working closely with technicians and internal customers, the Parts Back Counter Assistant helps ensure parts are available when needed and the department operates safely and efficiently.

Job Duties:

• Pull parts for back counter repair orders.
• Manage daily shop repair orders and work-in-process reports.
• Update notes and track order status in the system.
• Inspect and process returned cores for credit.
• Coordinate core returns for the department.
• Track and manage warranty parts and vendor returns.
• Make emergency parts deliveries to support shop operations.
• Assist with inventory organization and warehouse tasks.
• Maintain clean and organized parts and warehouse area.
• Support technicians and internal customers with parts needs.
• Follow company safety and inventory procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous parts, warehouse, dealership, or inventory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and inventory management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Compensation:

• $20-$25/hour depending on skills and experience
• Full Time Position
