Position Summary

We are seeking a Switchboard Operator to join our expanding clinical team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming calls, route to appropriate departments, and page appropriate personnel.
  • Triage and respond promptly and accurately to emergency calls according to establishes procedures. 
  • Greet patients and family members in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring professional representation of the organization. 
  • Keep switchboard internal and external directory up to date.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one year experience in a medical facility setting.
  • Basic knowledge of computerized phone system.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
