Job Details: Job Location: Westmoreland Office - Greensburg, PA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Pay Rate: $18 - $20/hour (based on experience and credentialing) Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000 Location: GreensburgFUNCTION:The Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll support daily living activities, community engagement, and personal development, while advocating for individual choice and dignity.RESPONSIBILITIES: Understands, supports, and advocates with people we support by helping them live a life of personal significance. Identifies, documents, and shares concerns and successes as appropriate. Transports and accompanies people to activities, appointments, and events. Helps with personal care tasks as needed, laundry, and food preparation. Assists with money management by promoting independence Completes service documentation/notes in Therap on the same day service is provided in accordance with agency guidelines. Additional duties as assigned.Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: No previous experience required – we provide all the training you’ll need! GED or High School Diploma required Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle preferred. Able to pass required background checks (Act 33 and Act 34 clearances).
