Job Description:

Currently holds Secret-level security clearance

This position is for a Senior Associate within Inventory Management, that is responsible for supporting field operations for both scheduled and unscheduled repairs and modifications. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring equipment is fielded in a timely manner to support modification schedules. Additional responsibilities include internal tracking of materials through in-house production areas and management of shortages. Candidates should be detail-oriented and driven individuals. This role plays a critical part in maintaining balanced production flow by ensuring equipment and materials are aligned with field team production schedules. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support multiple USAF field operations world-wide with aircraft mission equipment, including MICAP & AOG situations
  • Work closely with various Program Office personnel to support field modifications and ensure equipment is onsite and available for field teams
  • Track and maintain all field site repairs and DIFMs
  • Manage weekly field site status reports
  • Monitor and track all shop and ATSS bonded stock material shortages for in-house repairs
  • Collaborate and communicate with Customer and Program Office on tracking of Sustainment contract funding to ensure budget adherence
  • Communicate status, risks, and constraints clearly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance scheduling accuracy and production flow
  • Travel, both domestic & international to support field efforts

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on internal and external customer satisfaction

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Previous experience working with USAF personnel/customers
  • Previous experience within MRP/ERP environment
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production planning environment
