Your role.Ā
Hands-on engagement leaderĀ responsible for delivering complex accounting advisory engagements, leading teams, managing client relationships, and building the practice.Ā
Serve as a recognizedĀ subject matter expertĀ inĀ accounting, financeĀ andĀ financialĀ reportingĀ practices,Ā including addressing service needs as it relates toĀ technical accounting applicationĀ (e.g., US GAAP),Ā accounting operationalĀ shortcomingsĀ and staffing voids,Ā assurance and tax readiness, financial analysis and budgeting,Ā post-acquisition accounting integrations,Ā and any other scenarios where clients do not possess either the capacity or acumen to address accounting and finance objectives on their own.Ā
Direct all phases of client engagements, including planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.Ā
Ā Lead and deliver multifacetedĀ accountingĀ and financeĀ advisoryĀ engagementsĀ across a wide range of industries.Ā
Oversee development of clear, client-ready reports and presentations outlining findings and recommendations.Ā
EnsureĀ timelyĀ technical reviews and quality standards across all engagements.Ā
Lead, mentor, and develop engagement teams; provide direction, coaching, andĀ timelyĀ performance feedback.Ā
Oversee staffing, delegation, and team performance to support engagementĀ objectivesĀ and staff development.Ā
Conduct performance reviews and career planning discussions aligned with practice and firm goals.Ā
Contribute to recruiting, retention, training, and broader people initiatives.Ā
Foster a collaborative team environment consistent with firm values.Ā

Own engagement economics, including budgeting, realization, billing, and collections.Ā

Qualifications.
10+ yearsĀ ofĀ experienceĀ
Bachelor's degree in accounting, and/or Business Administration isĀ requiredĀ Ā
CPAĀ strongly preferred;Ā historicalĀ finance andĀ accounting experienceĀ equivalent to designationĀ all acceptableĀ
Proven practice development experience isĀ requiredĀ

Must be able to remain in a stationary sitting position for at least 75% of the time.Ā

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Please review the position description for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.
